Doesn't mean people don't correct you, whatever you're doing is right. It's rather common especially at this age and exposure plus freedom to have a billion friends. Does the number satisfy you? Or the number of likes you have on the different social media? You may have 10 cliques and 100 'bros and sis' but do they really help you? Boosting self-esteems by being nice and complimenting each other is great but lying just to please your friend is at a whole new level. Even for myself, I wouldn't have recognized my mistakes and actions that are uncomfortable to some without being told. Yup I used to joke around often with sarcasms (still do but alot lesser) because situations were too obvious but it isn't a laughing matter to everyone. Besides, I rather have friends giving solutions to my weaknesses and how to make it my strength. (Yes it's achievable) Would you prefer to learn it from others the hard way? There are cases of individuals who just cannot swallow the harsh news. It could be due to the sudden impact of realization or the painless world of egoism. Everyone has their own 'improvement points' and 'good points'. If you have true friends who would sacrifice the hate from you just for your awareness, be it through voicing out or private indirect, then recall how did you react. Sometimes we all got to put aside our mindset of superiority or any egoistic thoughts and listen to what our friends have to say. Their grades, vocabulary, capability, responsiveness, age shouldn't matter. Advice is advice. Ofcourse, we gotta learn to differentiate between useful advice and criticism to intentionally pull us down. In cases of uncertainty, you may thank them and ask "how can I improve myself?". Maybe you have other solutions that Im not aware of, as long as it is suitable for you, it's fine. What's the link to the Starbucks drink photo? This friend of mine blanjaed me yay.
