He was a grandson of a slave, an African American and participated in the 1936 olympics in Berlin. At that time, it was under the Nazi rule and Hitler was in power. Whatever obstacles Jesse faced, he pushed it aside and focused on his dream. He was successful at attaining 4 gold metals- 100m, 200m, 400mm relay and long jump. This track-and-field star electrifies the world but was not accepted by Hitler because of his color thus the latter refused to shake hands with him.

Despite all of his immense fame, he was not overly proud or boastful. Many (including myself) adores the ‘fastest man alive’ for being so humble. His winnings opened up the door for other African American athletes and he was an inspiration to everyone.

Went to the dentist as my gums have been throbbing for days. “It was due to stress” they said. Constantly feeling knackered by 6pm everyday and I’m used to napping around that time now. Hi I can’t wait for OBS which is in December. Haven't even visit the doc for checkup and I’m already hyped about it. Clearly knowing that my gums need to be taken great care of, I have three birthday cakes to eat. My friends are so nice to bake it themselves, hopefully I’ll do for them when the time comes(which I obviously can’t do). WHY KAKA? Because I was doing math when I got him

19th Of September

First period: Surprise test on Unseen Prose and had to do both the poem and passage. It was a really surprise one. I assumed that we were revising on R&J today as I really have not touched that book in a while. Amath can solve it’s own trigo problems. What more proof do they need? Can’t they just trust the answer key. What am I blabbering? HAHA I’m just frustrated with myself.

This Gangnam Style song constantly brings me back to aces day and CME project. Relieved that it didn’t open, but it was quite embarrassing as we’ve started our presentation. I’ve not started at all on my humans revision. And I just got to know how klutz I am. Bollix up my humans files and putting all the mixed notes under my desk. HOW SUZANA HOW.

Primary 4 sleepover when we discussed about how we were gonna get over 250 for our PSLE and didn't know a thing about o levels system. We wanted to be princesses that ha powerpuff powers but in secret. We have a vivid fantasy imagination, even until now. That was basically our aim in life. It's like the best thing to annoy adults as we could be called "still kids" and were let off. Now that we've passed that stage in life, its time to live youth age. It's way faster than I thought it would. I'm left with less than a year to my o levels. Oh silly lil' dreamer~

Chilling

End of Year Exams’ nearing, again. Standard for most students to show their antipathy towards exams. Well, it contributes to the growing of white hair for youth, which is weirdly cool. If I could chose a hairstyle for a day, definitely bleach it.

So what am I doing on a thursday night? X FACTOR. People are more expressive and straight forward. There’s this humble-harmless-funky boy group which is so good! Brave to sing an original on an audition! Applause all the way from Singapore~ Demi Lovato’s dip dye hair’s makes me want to try it myself gahhhh.

Precision Drill Competition 2012

Morning training to warm up for the actual competition. Christopher, Darren and I had math supplementary. We were excused for it but we chose to skip part of Morning training for it. Wore my boots to level 3 classroom with tape on. Rushed to ball court to have lunch/ Darren and I were greeted by the rest so loudly that I didn’t know what to respond! They forced us to remove our badges :’( Supporters reached ball court before two of us did and we had 30 mins to prepare and off we go to HTA.

“If you all win top 4, I buy all of you perfume ah!” declared our trainer hahahahahhahah

Instantly felt loved as I entered the Harmony Hall when we passed Manjusri and Coral sec.

Unlike last year’s aim: to get PDS badge

This year: Top 4

After our performance (which was one of the last few), innocently, one of my cadets was sure of us getting first place as she really had put in her all. Well, after 4 months of training, it was all worthwhile.

3rd: JURONG WEST ^^

4th: Evergreen (ANDY & JINGXUN’s)

Saturday’s training with PDS

While the rest ate at Macdonalds, I tapau-ed a meal to CD Room to meet Darren and Akif. The sun was inevitable from 9am onwards. While BB cadets were having their prize presentation at the parade square, we had a warm up foot drill at the cybercafe. Brainstormed on ideas for decoration of uniform. It was so last minute as we focused too much on sharpness instead. Well, like last year, we chose two colors and decided to play around with it, Jurong West’s uniqueness. Last year was pink and black feathers, pink and black. gloves and straps of white on our belts.
This year’s theme was waves (due to the double domino) so the colors blue and white would be perfect. Bought blue and white feathers, painted top part of our gloves in blue, leaving the bottom half white and taped parts of our boots in white and make it look like roller blades. Well, my boots was the first to the experimented with, and one of the requirements was to march and hentakkaki around to make sure the tape didn’t fly out or something.
