Sunday, March 31, 2013 @ 9:53 PMSaturday at HQ
Spot me? Can't complain much cos it was taken with a camera phone. Water mist gun is like a barbell for ncdcc cadets. After carrying it for an entire day, I think my biceps have grown. Finally got combat boots! How can they only have size 5. What About those NS men who wears size 3/4? Wont it be uncomfortable for them? Haha it feels rather stiff and awkward when I match with them. So anyhoo, Diyana's rabbits reproduced, again. Btw, I discovered this festival called "Holi". It's so chill where people throw colored powder to each other and dance wildly. It is a time of enjoyment and celebration of the start of spring if I'm not wrong. What a colorful saturday! back to top? |

Hoop de hoop
Hi there little boys and girls. Before I head off to lalaland, just a quick post on Wednesday. Did my most hated part about foot drill, sizing. I might not be tall enough, but one day I will do what Jeremy Lin did to kevjumba to all you mean people. Okay but the only time I play sport games is during PE lessons. Oh the weather. Hopefully it's not 36 degrees during tomorrow's training like last week. Precision drill squad will be coming along as well and I am eggciteddddddd.

@ 10:53 PMRandom day of the week.
A pencil lead pierced through my thumb and its finally out after a week and a half!
Just some overdue photos. And if bus buddy’s viewing this, HELLLO TAK MENJADI CLT.
Thanks to the rule of not using handphones for other things than communication with each other in camp, I didn’t manage to provide an album of 3D2Ns. Also, the person who left during mid camp came back with Hersheys! Mehehehe.
Which activity is a must-organise?
FINAL EX. Only in my year did we add in this event. It is a search and rescue mission where a team of cadets (usually 4) crawl their way in. They are required to apply what they’ve learnt, all the rescue techniques. As it is supposedly in a confined space, they are to squeeze through and rescue mannequins and other cadets of different weight and sizes out. Even an arm is to be saved!
Ofcourse, with the help of CLTs was the activity accepted. I got to experience being a victim for collapsing-building rescue in the dark and I finally understand how they feel. And if you need tips for final expedition,
Goodluck!

Monday, March 25, 2013 @ 2:34 AMOh I don't know, complete them?
I think every other amath student receives the same amount of holiday practise. Another stressful Monday where I'd be guilty of forgetting to do one or two worksheets. Karangan (malay compo) detests me so much that it poofs from my file. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Ps; collar tan line is ugly back to top? |

Saturday, March 23, 2013 @ 11:30 PMWhat I devote my Saturday to
I'm definitely going to miss my time spending on extra cca trainings/events/course on every Saturday. As for this few weeks, it's going to be focused on the upcoming NCDCC day on 12 April. I'm back to participate in this parade with a new bunch of cheeky people. Bala, Isa, Ryan, Malini was here too but they ain't in GOH. Nuuuuuuuu. This would be my last parade in HTA as a cadet. Remember the previous post where they did the :O face? We decided to do that frequently because YOLO AH YOLO. Ok so here's the first few konyol photos. back to top? |

It's the first training for ncdcc day parade training tomorrow :) back to top? |

Thursday, March 21, 2013 @ 8:55 PMAED course
Before camp starts, the usual 8 of us went to HTA in full u. As we had to leave school at 12.45pm, it was a major rush for us, especially forgetting to inform our mt teachers the reason of our absence.
To make sure our uniform was in tip-top condition, we sacrificed our recess to polish our boots.
SO ANYWAY,
Advanced External Defibrillator requires CPR skills as well. While waiting for the rest to complete, we enjoyed our last moments in an air-conditioned room, sitting down, not worrying about camp. We had more than an hourKnowing cadets from other schools through courses and camps, we weren’t school-ist. Everyone conveniently tompang their wallets and phones in my bag.
One of the steps before pressing the shock button is when we had to shout, "YOU CLEAR, I CLEAR, EVERYBODY CLEAR!” hahah now tell me who didn’t do it with the accent?

Wednesday, March 20, 2013 @ 2:46 AMOn my phone.
Whoever invented the IPhone app "blogger" which I'm currently using, I would like to express my full gratitude and love for you. This completely saves me from charging my laptop, taking out my phone's usb to plug it in the computer, transferring photos from phone to IPhoto, uploading it onto blogger. Instead, It is accessible wherever I go. It's way compatible to safari on phone as you have to type through Html and prevents you from uploading photos. I'm not sure if other bloggers experience the same problems, maybe it's just me. So basically 5/7 days eating fastfood in the week already. And Farid bought ainah and I Hershey's in camp. March holiday= hours I take to do homework is equivalent to school hours. Time check: 12.40am and I've yet to complete 2 karangan (Malay composition) due tomorrow. Because I have good time management. back to top? |

Monday, March 18, 2013 @ 11:28 PMCANtribute
Secondary fours CIP activity on 12 March 2013 was organised by the CIP comm. Being an CIP ambassador, I couldn’t not go either way. Well, it was for a good cause so why not spending the saturday collecting can food while harlem shaking in the lift with your group members! It was a rare experience for my group as we partially “broke the rules” which was to not enter any of the houses alone. Fortunately, it was Christopher’s home whereby he automatically took out his house keys to enter and headed straight to the kitchen. Unlike other classes, we relied on our own bags to lug the food cans around. Although we had lack of manpower, it was enough complete a few blocks. The programme was helpful as we got to observe the different kinds of attitudes of residents early in the morning. Deeply thankful to the active volunteers who participated in this activity! Over 4,000 cans collected in less than 3 hours. Labels: melting, motivation, My bag was effing huge. back to top? |

@ 10:44 PMExplore the world of Aviation!
On a random Friday, almost all of my entire english class went for this aviation workshop at Temasek Poly. What I first discovered was the airplane “parked permanently” outside of the school.
(grabbed from google.com)
If airplanes, helicopters flying objects interests you, Temasek poly should be in the top of your list for tertiary education, geek! Im just kidding ofcourse! This was one of my most unexpected hands-on field trip. They have the most advanced materials to let you have the best learning experience.
Not only do you get to meet a real life pilot, you get to experience flying (a simulator) as well.
YOU might be the future aviation professional!
“action sleep"
“Ready for take off?"
I reset the time hahaha
Student explaining on how to use the airplane controller to prevent from committing suicide
Until now, I am clueless on why should we use this. All I know is the blue one is for landing.
Pui Shang was flying outside Changi Airport hahahahaah
After my focus was on this photo, I crashed into the sea. *APPLAUSE*.
Anyone in need for a professional pilot? Trust me, Im responsible.
After all, we paid our fullest attention on the lecture as it didn’t feel like a lecture with role play in between. This is beneficial to me, even if I don’t aspire to do these in my future, I got to be an aviation geek.

@ 10:37 PMAdventure finale!
Just like many other cadets, I have just taken my first step into another island which does not require passports to enter. Yes! Im referring to Pulau Ubin.
The walk to the campsite was a long journey. But it was worth it- d’uh!
A mini sea expedition while we discussed on how the ferry does not rust. There was an argument on whether it was coated with paint or did they attach a more reactive metal underneath. This is what you call pre-stress a week before science focus test. While others are most probably working theirs brain out memorizing quotes/ formulas/ facts or maybe the entire textbook, we fly, skateboard in the air, walk on strings, eat food rations.
Instead of moaning on how we are always separated from our schoolmates, we accepted the fact that we would definitely be split and infact, we got excited to make new friends for our last activity before we pass out.

The flying fox was one of my favorites evethough we felt like puking on the way up the stairs. If I’m not mistaken, we jumped off a 7-8 story. Joanne and I screamed “I LOVE NCDDDDD” all the way down. They said my facial expressions was so epic. If you’re judging me right now, you do la! hahah.

Sunday, March 10, 2013 @ 12:58 PMQuick update.
Have you ever unintentionally hurt someone before? Due to your innocence and your not-so-smart moment when you say/do something regrettable. I'm just some rebel girl who does nothing afterwards cause’ I don’t know what to do. How was I supposed to know he didn’t know? I can’t do my daily routines for three days properly as I feel that Im so rude and overly mean. If I apologized, it would be awkward. If I was in his shoes, I would feel embarrassed. No this has got nothing to do with boys and heartbreak or whatever. Where got time for bgr?Face it la suz. Labels: I regretted so badly, You think you do but you have no idea. back to top? |
