Writing is magical. The empty page is where you start to put together the disparate parts of your life. Once you put it down on paper, you can figure out how all your plans can start to come together.Eventhough Im just a child and stereotyped “not mature yet”, I shouldn’t limit myself. So much to learn about myself, the universe and how it works. Why people behave in a certain way, the power of influence and the mind. I have been longing to search for the secrets of this world. Guess once I secure my O levels, I’d be able to do whatever I have wanted to do all these while. Yep, the most common but reasonable excuse. For now, I’ll just keep on reading and learn from there. Did you know that the first word in the Al-Quran is Iqra- which means read! It’s the first command in the profound holy book. It was definitely a clear sign for me to advance in knowledge. So throw away the ignorance and laziness and start reading and writing. Too many lack this awareness so I hope this mini paragraph have somehow opened some eyes in parts of the world. back to top? |

Wednesday, May 29, 2013 @ 12:17 AMKudaku berlari gagah berani
Thousands of stars in the sky have now disappeared I feel about in the darkness The floating moon is now growing darker My inspiration fades without a direction A moment of your face appears in the quiet There is flickering of light Is that the stars or the moon? I say thank you Allow me to steal the shadow of your face Allow me to steal the imagination with you Forgive me, oh Imagine this song could disturb the space you live in , You smile, oh Just memories of us in this arena You're my inspiration . . . you're my inspiration Labels: Inhale love Exhale hate., Nervous., study back to top? |

Tuesday, May 28, 2013 @ 1:47 AM7 DAYS LEFT
What’s the purpose of counting down the days to the exams? To remind us daily so that we would use the remaining time left wisely. So over the 3-day weekend, my mother tongue homework was just too much. Evenso, I completed them on the night before. Such a coincidence how there’s always family outings everytime my exams are nearing. So whats up? Been feeding my body with edible food. Edible might not be healthy but im healthy and contented. Supernananana was actually too sweet and the banana pieces had a weird smell but overall, it’s overrated. I still prefer choco frappe from Macdonalds. It’s only Monday and we and Im sure other schools too have mother tongue intensive. Suzana, you better achieve what you want ah. After receiving my results, I don’t give myself permission to feel regret. There is still time to memorise all the peribahasa and improve my bahasa further, my main weakness. Comparing to my genius peers, Im lacking way behind. Yes, there is a need to compare. I am Singaporean, deal with it. Selamat maju jaya kepada semua!
ps; look at the time O.O 4 hours left to sleep before school. Investiture investiture investiture. Im graduating from CIP soon :-) Goodmornight!

Chop more than 6inches of it off because I can. For the past few days I have spending my free time with a game called DUMBBBBWAYSTODIE. There’s actually a music video of it and so many parodies. So yes, I came to school looking x100 times younger and people didn’t recognise me. Young and wild. Everytime I go out for mini-shopping, the first thing that’ll catch my eye are jeanssss so many to choose. *mataku terbeliak* Exams are over and its time to let my inner girl-self out. OKAY PODSPODSPODSPODS. Hi i want pods for my birthday thanks. Labels: Fun, Happy shopping, My hair is short again back to top? |

Wednesday, May 22, 2013 @ 8:37 PMIt hit me
I decided to confess on something serious. I don’t deserve to be called an Asian anymore unless I prove myself wrong with surprising O level results. Hais, is there something wrong with the way I write/speak/listen? Why is my English so weak? Why oh why oh why oh why oh why oh why oh why oh why. I should be focusing on malay right now because I have 12 days left to my exams.
Im also a Bsian, Csian, Dsian.
And it’s interesting how the subject that I flunked was the ones that I truly put in consistent efforts. (ok la except for physics) Calculating my L1R2B2, I was cracking my brains on “back up” courses. Really hurts when you score D-angerously low results. C-rap grades won’t get me anywhere either. Being A-verage means getting straight As for everything.
Jika tidak dipecah ruyung, di mana boleh mendapat sagunya.
So lets go, we can do it.

Have you ever felt that something would go wrong somewhere somehow? Shitty regret feelings, but know you can’t do anything to improve your situation? They say there’s always a choice. But not today. Today's my day because I'm currently locked out of my own house. Nono, not because I got kicked out or whatever. I just, assumed all will be well and mum would be home before I do. It’s shining bright here, there’s too many lights which is deeply appreciate tonight. Heh, should have visited town since ami invited. Ahhhh wasted opportunity. Eating at the jpark was the the backup plan with my classmates because mac didnt have enough seats. I am so lost right now I feel my burger and citrus fries and double choco frappe up at my throat. OHMYGOOOOSH THERE'S A RAT JOINING ME AT THE BUSSTOP WITH. It's like 2 meters away and exercising. Wow even a rat can run. Maybe this was all set for me, to witness the homeless animal and use it as a motivation to stay healthy. Cheh what am I talking about. It took me 20 minutes to capture one tiny tiny tiny tiny part of my companion. It wasn’t easy at all; weirdness overload.... Ok can a cockroach happily croosed over my shoes. Sorry, this one’s hard to get. Besides, mum’s here wheeeeeeeeeeeeeLabels: exercise, got nothing to do. back to top? |

Thursday, May 16, 2013 @ 11:31 PMCaught red handed
Last day of the Mid-year examinations and it’s my second time being a red little indian in school. I think I really can read people’s mind or really accurate insticts because I brought an empty sprayable water bottle. Just as I had expected, I got my hands on the picture below when some genius left his and my bag unattended. How konyol was I to almost drink it. Transferred it all into my water bottle, unseen and protected.But...... I knew the moment he walked towards me, I was so dead. Aku melangkah seribu kerana hatiku berdegup-degup tak henti. It seems like 2 dyes were involved too. I was determined to not surrender to let them create an ice kacang. While peacefully reading a magazine in the classroom, BAM GUESS WHAT. My own weapon was held against me and I didn’t have a shield nor defender. Im not gonna go to details on what the process of cleaning up the poison from my eyes was but I ended up red, again. This time, they have upgraded from food colouring to some smelly liquid. Sucha coincident how I wore the exact same red tshirt after getting watered. And I coulod blame it’s bad quality. Anyhoo, it’s only day 2 and I didn’t manage to do much. Have been running so much that I loss mass *applause*
ps; had a dream I was king, I woke up still king

Saturday, May 11, 2013 @ 6:55 PMSimple gift for Mothers Day
Mothers day nearing and out of ideas? Out of money to buy her a beautiful dress or just untalented to cook? Abstain from making a dish if she'd risk having a diarrhea on the night of mothers day. Design a simple card for the one who delivered you to this world. I’m pretty sure many out there have been doing this for years and years but hey, if it brings a smile to her face, it’s a pretty brilliant idea.Number #1: Make it BOOM, something that might catch her eyes. I chose pop-out cards even though I had no clue before this on how to create one. There’s an amazing saviour called google, use it.
Number #2: Her favourite color, new colors, colors of love. It doesn’t have to be a fantastic color match because after all, its the effort that counts. Get your paintbrushes, colored papers, color pencils, markers, crayons out. Let your inner-art-self to do the work.
Number #3: Oh if you’re showing your love only on Mothers day, EVERYDAY IS MOTHERS DAY. I understand sometimes that it might be a rough day for both of you, but try to keep your cool and still respect her.
Number #4: Now that it is decorated perfectly... Whats an outstanding card without a heartfelt letter? If the culture at home is not frequent with the “I love you”s, take this as an opportunity to remind her. Be down-to-earth or make it a hilarious one. Nothing’s stopping you from combining them both! Just don’t copy and paste paragraphs from the Internet. Write it from your heart because words are powerful tools.
Number #5: Give her a hug/ kiss/ tell her face to face. Spend the day with her and devote yourself to make her feel loved. Make her realize that she has raised her child well. It defeats the purpose of this manmade day if you had chilled out with your friends instead of mummy dearest.
Time to express your gratitude to your mum. Being a mother is the most important job in the world. I hope I’ve got you moving and excited to start. Have fun preparing to all the daughters and sons out there who has a mum. Well, who doesn't?

Friday, May 10, 2013 @ 11:35 PMThe past five days
Lack of proper meals = more junk food.
I throw my food up in the air sometimes, saying ayyyyyo catch with my mouth yoooo.
My nights at gekpoh/ learning corner/ library/ was often accompanied by patties, energy bars or those mini chocolates here and there. After napping for (supposedly 10 minutes) 2 hours on average, I continue my last-minute exam preparation at home just like every other student. My body reacts in a way that my hands would auto-snooze my alarm clock while I'm in dreamland. Every time I try to control myself from recharging my energy level, my time being awake wouldn't be as productive. So sleeping is good for you, studyholics/workaholics/game addicts out there.
They say lunch is the most important meal of the day if you striked out breakfast and dinner. So I’ve been skipping the most important meal of the day and repaying it with supper.
It hasn’t been as exciting as I thought it would. Animals need more love. Some of the arrogant cats seriously has some attitude problems, maybe because they are spoilt by other Singaporeans. On the other hand, I'm actually proud that the residents actually bother to take good care of stray cats.
Life of an Asian girl.

Wednesday, May 8, 2013 @ 10:43 PMBarely at stage Act 2 Scene 2
Not only is this the famous balcony scene, it shows the drastic change in Juliet. Previously, she was innocent and definitely not in search for love “It is an honor I dream not of” in A1S3. Because she respects her mother, calling her “Madam” and “What is your will”, she does not like the idea of marriage and love. Furthermore, she’s barely fourteen! Come on, give her some space to think.
"The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars
As daylight doth a lamp; her eye in heaven Would through the airy region stream so bright That birds would sing and think it were not night.”
(So guys out there trying to impress literature students, quote Shakespeare)
In return, Juliet has managed to express her true feelings but is still afraid thus the audience is aware that she keeps it to herself in the soliloquy in A2S2. On the other hand, melancholy Romeo was lamenting over Rosaline. Ironic how he got over her in an instant and claims that "Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true
beauty till this night” when he set eyes on Juliet.
In A3S1, Romeo is overjoyed with Juliet’s acceptance and enters the fighting scene between Mercutio and Tybalt. He has accepted Tybalt as his own and “love thee more than thou canst devise”. Mercutio rages but ended up getting killed, under Romeo’s arms. When Mercutio falls, Romeo realizes that he has soften because of Juliet, “Thy beauty hath made me effeminate , And in my temper soften valor’s steel”. So I'm pausing here, leaving you with something to think about, Romeo is no longer bold and as impulsive as he used to. So is meeting Juliet a good or bad thing for him?

Saturday, May 4, 2013 @ 8:58 PM'Be Kind To Animals Week' starts from tomorrow
As stated in my previous post. Hmmmm so which animals should we buy food for? An obvious choice would be the gorgeous cats and kittens and tigers and lions out there. Ok set. My aim would be 7 cats. But it's a little risky as I might have allergies. And its exam week! Hopefully good things come to good girls. So here's to the people all around the world who loves rabbits and cats and can't touch them. I'm such a rebel. Snowy was irresistible and too fluffy to not hug. Goodmiao! back to top? |

Wednesday, May 1, 2013 @ 9:05 PMAlive and caged.
We call it natural when chimpanzees use slender grass stalks as tools to harvest termites from a nest. We’ve seen displays of empathy, communication, corporation, intelligence in many documentaries and when you think about it, we are very similar. It’s not the big a leap. There is no excuse for harming those innocent creatures. Animals should be treated fairly and their feelings should be taken into account. Im sure many readers would agree but how far would you go to prevent animal abuse?
To start it off, you as an individual should treat animals with great care and compassion. Be a role model and you might influence others to do so as well. It warms my heart when I see random people feeding pondering stray cats at the void deck. Atleast there is hope in humanity.
There have been many unreported animal abuses as passersby neglect what they witness. If you see any suspicious acts such as puppies been kicked around like a football, don’t hesitate to call the Agri-food and Veteran Authority of Singapore (AVA). It has opened up a 24hour hotline to respond to urgent cases. Don’t worry, you would not be the only one. More than 9,500 cases of animal cruelty or related issues were reported just last year. It all starts with you.
There is also an event called the “Be Kind To Animals Week” which has been celebrated since 1915. Ofcourse you do not limit your gratitude to that particular week only. 5-18 May is the week where you become exceptionally kind to them. Just by spreading the information of this event, you can make a difference. Every small act towards creating a better world for animals matters.

@ 8:16 PMI wish to do things in the speed of light..
just like a ninja.
Probably one of those nerve-wrecking days for students from my school as the Mid Year examinations starts in less than 12 hours. Rest is most important for the brain so I decided to stay home all day. And what did I manage to accomplish on this one day holiday? Nothing fantastic, last minute memorizing of formats and absorbing information on wildlife. Just for your information, hunting is now a recreational sport/hobby/tradition. Amazing how poachers lack sympathy. Little that Im aware, polar bears are turning into cannibals because of the climate change and they lack food. Videos, pictures and articles online are causing my lunch to make a reappearance. Anyway, I am supposed to make a proper post with interviews and all by tonight. Till then. Spot anything interesting? :)

@ 1:20 AMNot uncontradicting?
Measuring from my unbalanced shoulders, I feel that my school bag’s mass is like the feather of lead. It’s a little too big for my gigantic-lilliputian size. I was never again welcomed by the silent noise of the young adults, who didn’t even roll their eyes towards my direction. It would be foolish to not be wise to assemble at the vastly unspacious parade square before the clock strikes 7.20am. Just like free robots, we automatically took out that thinly heavy object which provides so much knowledge to stare just for the sake of pleasing the unpleased. Those detestful emotionless stares hinting at those stupid geniuses to not ponder on the skyview surroundings and to focus on what they have in their hands. It is unopenly obvious that there’s an energy emitting icy fire from their triangular eyeballs.I noticed the bright smoke from a near far factory. It is peacefully harming the environment and contributes to our sick health. Complaints are constantly unfrequent but, are they taking any action or is it just unnecessary feedback? It is a pretty ugly sight. I guess I’m just unfortunately lucky because the usual stuffed air-conditioned learning corner is closed. The one other place you’d think is almost perfect for concentrating on your work is locked behind those rusty grey blockage. Well, I still have to control my ungrateful appreciation for the other days where it was pointlessly useful. This might put me into a dark light but it’s a positive distraction from the unhurried hectic month. Maybe writing might help prevent a motionless explosion, but really to think of it, isn’t there nothing much for a mature infant to worry? It all lies in the greatly un-fully-developed mind. Confused or confirm? Have a loving hate day, but for now, parting is such sweet sorrow. Labels: language back to top? |
