Family.
If you think Im a retard, I’d like to introduce to you my family.
Who says you can’t snap pictures..
While rushing to find a seat,
While our parents shop and we were ordered to take a proper photo,

While teaching Farhan the art of mastering “that suzana face”, he’s a good student hahaah.
While our parents are informing us of the plans and timings for the day,
btw, I was teaching her the face to use when you want something at the bottom left photo.

While exploring unknown places,
While surviving on a long road trip,

While all the adults were gone and we had a hotel room to ourselves,

While waiting for free food,
“I want to be in the picture leh!"

Or trying to get the “perfect raya family photo”,

When we saw a friendly creature,

When we got the apartment to ourselves

After pleasing an adult to get us all ice cream,

When I tell them a damn lame joke,

Or as simple as sleep overs.

We grew up this way. And still growing. Eh, we think we powerpuff family okay.
This 3 ladies are the main Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup.
There’s also the boy version of them which are the 3 bros.
We have mojojojojo, princess morbucks and him.
And I just got to realise that I have neglected them this holiday.

Here’s a glass (of juice) to you for viewing all our asking-to-get-slapped faces.

ps; I need to be disciplined and start sleeping earlier. Rest is important suzana.

Lost and found.
Every normal human being would have a bad habit; be it digging the nose and flicking the gold publicly, leaving the fan on when not in use or eating off the cooking pan. Mine is misplacing items regularly. One moment it’s safe in my hands and the next, poof it vanished. Whenever any of my precious items runs away, I’d just stone in my room, hoping that it’ll forgive me and return home. It’s weird, but that’s just me. Besides, getting pissed at your own carelessness would not improve the situation.

I need a solution. From stationaries to school ties, badges, nametag, keys, ezlink cards, perfumes, earings, hairband, assignments, earpieces and even socks. Am I the only one who has disappearing socks? Maybe it’s just my feet aroma. But hey! Some of my peers have lost more valuable things such as phones, ipods, cameras and shorts (in school haha). Who needs phones when you have IPods and Wifi nowadays? When you forget to pay the bills or whatever and have no 3G, then that’s a problem. Haha tomorrow is the 26th yayyyyy.

What if there was a “lost and found” box for all the things that went missing in some part of the planet? I want that.

Save my world
Recently there has been a second version of "save my world" which involved the Ah boys to men cast. Is it just me or did they feature the song at the right timing? Yes, so what is all the fuss here in Singapore? The haze the haze the haze the haze. This is what happens when we rarely experience a dangerous country-wide problems. I observe that Singaporeans actually get more united when such challenges arise. For the whole of Thursday, I was literally locked at home but I understood why my mum did so. It was for my own health. We tried our best to seal the house, minimizing air flow. I remembered when there was a first jump of PSI reading by a hundred and it was 290. Random friends started checking on me, reminding me to stay home and to get a N95 mask also known as respirator. I did some research on it and briefly got to know how it actually works. Even with the knowledge of the harmful particles that would be in me forever, I decided to go out the next day. BAM, the moment I stepped out of the house, it shot up to 401. Until now, I'm still astounded that my mum and I were laughing at ourselves when the news reached us. Oh yah, it is now a norm to wear a protection. More than 50 percent of the people I set eyes on today had their mouth and nose covered. This is when people actually put aside appearance and care for their safety. Bus drivers, constuction workers, teenagers, aunties going markets (yes nothing's stopping them), shoppers, little children. Something I was impressed of. Ofcourse theres other heedless citizens out there, like me, who do not bother to purchase a face gear. And was exposed to the polluted air quite a lot.
The fascinating thing is that when I'm focused on something else, the haze is simply chucked to the back of my mind. After studying, I got lost on my way home. Even though it was already dark and there's constant reminders to stay indoors, I felt truly safe out in the open. I was walking by then, duh. I ended up breeze walking to unknown directions till I saw a familiar building. JEM. Great, just great. At least I familiarized myself with Jurong more today. :)

My first skool.
Whats better than learning through experiencing it yourself? Nothing!

I wasn’t really involved in the logistics for the first time. There were 3 activities: Games, Role play and Handcraft. The kindergarteners were so tiny I felt good. Hahahahah really mini. The most hyper one was Energetic Benedict. That’s what I called him. Though he got reprimanded byy his form teacher, I told him that it was fine to run around. We got comfortable with them till I just carried them as they were lazy bums. They’re actually intelligent but innocent. I tickled them individually (He zong, Peter and Balqis). I was caught off guard when they teamed up and started poking me everywhere. Dammit I had to control myself from squeezing their cheeks!

Pui Shang just turned 16! She didn’t mind this project and didnt use her birthday as an excuse. She really enjoyed herself getting bullied by the cute boy. What did I contribute? I brought the necessary items plus a prop for the play. Apparently it was crowded in the classroom and only half of us could stay. While the rest were playing with paint,

Education is a lifelong journey whose destination expands as you travel.
I unconsciously influenced this boy antil he shouted “Jan from January. HAHAHHAHA, Jan!”.

Chocolate chip cookie
I have to start somewhere right.
I can learn baking at whatever age I want because I have a choice. My peers (girls and boys) might have even mastered tons of recipes by now. Honestly, I tried to bake just last year but I cheated and used the already-prepared powder. So yes, this is my first attempt of baking cookies from basics.

And it wasn't a tedious nor an arduous task at all. I treated it like a chemistry practical exercise.
0) Get ready the safety goggles/gloves.
1) Scan through all the instructions before starting.
2) Prepare and check all materials/ingredients.
3) Assume the apparatus needed at what stage.
4) List the possible problems that I might face.
5) Stir solution till fully mixed.
6) Heat. Prevent from overheating.
7) Observe the product. Check for effervescence/rise.
8) Smell it. Pungent or aromatic?
9) Test for gas/taste. Hahahah.
10) Clean the area after that.
11) Get a grade from the teacher.

If you can do chemistry, you can bake.

Dreams are amazing

After days of thinking, these are two videos (both created and published by asapSCIENCE) that I chose to share her on my blog. If you cancelled the video halfway through, its obvious you have no interest about the most fascinating power of the brain. All my life I assumed that everyone have dreams and nightmares. But some confessed that they had never dreamt their whole ife. After doing some research, I was right all along- every single one of us dreams every night. It’s just that some don’t remember it. It’s amazing how we can experience anything and don’t have to face the consequences. Dreams can actually end up at two extremes. I might wake up curious towards the meaning and purpose of the scenes that I have experienced. However, I might also wake up thanking god that it was just a nightmare.

I like being the boss of myself. As the curious and daring one, I have experimented on WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream). I was sleep paralyzed but I wasn’t fearful as I was prepared for my body to react that way. As I couldn’t check for the time, I just laid frozen on my bed till I stopped talking to myself in the empty, dark but peaceful place. Well, I enjoy dealing with my own subconscious mind. One of my aims to do more frequently is to be able to control my thoughts in a dream. Have you ever been in the exact scene in your dream from a previous dream and was able to change the situation? I’ve always felt that the ability to that is deeply satisfying.

However, Im sure that Im not the only one who gets frustrated whenever I forget my dream that was clear in my mind just 10 seconds ago.  Because I won’t be introduced to the MRI scanner (anytime soon), I decided to follow one of my friend’s advice to record it down. Yes, I shall wake up with a pen and my “book of dreams”. Now instead of asking your friends if they dreamt last night, try asking if they remembered and remind them to jot it down before it poofs to the back of their mind.

I believe that dreams are actually messages or signals for individuals. I’m not joking when I say dreams have guided me in my life someway or another. Sometimes I get visions in the day and I recently questioned myself “What if they were pieces from my dream?”. Though I like the idea of being psychic, people don’t believe it when I warn them or give them hints on what might be in store for them. I have to even control myself from shoving an “I TOLD YOU SO" in their face. Hahah that would be mean.

To me, some dreams are meant to be shared while the rest are for you to figure. Goodmornight dreamers :)
