Serving traditional Singapore food is an unpopular job and soon, the new generation will not be able to taste them. It's moderately tiring but it helps this month's aim of pushing my physical and mental capacity. Besides, we need to conserve hawkers and their recipes!! I love Singapore food :(

My definition of cool

The greatest part of my day at West Coast was finding out that my friends have blogs/ journals because we share a common fascination towards memories. Your current feelings or views may completely change in a month's time and it's really a good feeling to flip through the pages from 2005. The dreams, the cute boys, the inspiring friends, the common slang. Yeah there's cameras to take pictures and videos, but it's much more interesting to read YOUR point of view at that present moment. That makes it completely personal and exciting. Even this blog existed since 2009!!!

Whem there is awareness that there are no problems, just situations to deal with right now, a heavy burden is lifted. It was easier to agree with the quote than to accept it. And it is true that one reason why people can't let go of their problems or harsh situations is because it has given them identity. "Independent single mum" "Kind bullied boy" "Fierce teacher". It gives people character and without it, how would they be differentiated? Fascinating but truly insane.
