This is my first event after exams besides  PDC (Precision drill competition) day. It was a lively and naughty batch of cadets Amanda, Syafiqah and I took who would talk as much when an opportunity arises. It was a tough schedule but we gotta learn to sacrifice sleep eventually. And when you go for training with the ones you love, it's no longer a boring one. Honestly, I really like taking care of those who fall out when they have a valid reason. It's the time when you get to know more about that individual, share your experiences and give advices. 

But the most special thing about this parade that it's for the Singapore civil defence force and ncdcc, is the babies of the family. All the respected elite teams and every firefighter's and paramedic's  day. What if there was no war and crime and national service was just civil defence? To save lives and property. They are our everyday heroes who rushes through a hell zone and get you out safely. Can you imagine how much mental strength it takes to see people passing away infront of you? Or even the extreme injuries? Each second counts. And today we celebrate with joy of all firemen around the world. Connected by compassion. Love for the people.
